Discover Bank claims Jefferson Parish resident owes more than $2,000

GRETNA – A bank is seeking damages for sums due.

Discover Bank filed a suit May 19 against Tyrone McKenzie of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account of $2,106.29.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
