Northwestern State alleges Orleans Parish resident owes over $3,000

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking payment for sums due.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Northwestern State University filed a lawsuit May 30 against Tasia M. Demolle of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a promissory note for the balance of $3,153.16 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
