Gulf Coast Bank and Trust claims Jefferson Parish residents failed to pay over $24,000

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $24,000 in open account.

Gulf Coast Bank and Trust filed a suit June 20 against Nicole L. Matherne and Louis M. Matherne, both of Jefferson Parish, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the amount of $24,278.67. The defendants have failed to pay the sums due and are also indebted for interest, attorney's fees and other costs.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Wayne A. Maiorana Jr. of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
