GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking more than $2,000.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit June 28 against Renecia Simmons of Marrero in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of the balance of $2,703.10 on a J.C. Penney account. The defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.
The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
