American Express seeking more than $5,000 from Jefferson Parish resident

GRETNA – American Express is seeking damages for an open account with a balance of over $5,000.

American Express Bank FSB filed a suit against Gayle M. Kavanaugh in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account with the balance of $5,629.54 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
