Orleans Parish man accused of failing to repay promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – A Little Rock, Arkansas, man is seeking more than $25,000.

Christopher N. Hayes filed a lawsuit against Keith Carter of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the amount of $25,270 on a promissory note. The suit states that the defendant has taken no action to pay the plaintiff for rental income on property in Orleans Parish.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is representing himself.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
