Orleans Parish student accused of failing to pay university

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $3,000 from a student.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit against Reynaldo Lynn Johnson in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account. The suit states that the defendant owes $3,721.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy D. Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
