NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking damages for an open account.
University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit against Mashandra Hall Jackson of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.
According to the complaint, the defendant owes $1,159 plus interest for tuition and fees from the fall 2014 semester.
The defendant is accused of having an open account.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy D. Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
