NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking more than $800.
Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a lawsuit against Brittany Renaud Thomas in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment from a former student who has a balance of $831.50 plus interest. The suit states that the defendant attended Delgado Community College in the spring 2015 semester.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony Winters, Louisiana assistant attorney general.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
