Jefferson Parish resident accused of owing over $700 to community college

GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $750 on a Jefferson Parish resident's open account.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Brandi Celeste Dupre in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $776.67 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay what they owe.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
