Former University of New Orleans student accused of failing to pay for fall 2011 semester in full

GRETNA – A university is seeking more than $2,000 from a previous student.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a suit against Nancy Tien Do of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is payment of $2,191.05 plus interest, claiming the defendant has failed to pay the balance for the fall 2011 semester.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
