University of New Orleans seeking more than $3,000 from former student

GRETNA — The University of New Orleans claims that it is owed more than $3,000 from a former student.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a suit on Sept. 18 against Syed Moizuddin Hussain Quadri in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking the balance of $3,225.00 plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Meghan N. Beal of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
