GRETNA — A contractor claims that he was not paid for work he completed on a Kenner property.
John Testa filed a suit on Oct. 16 against Daphne Green in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging she owes him $46,208 plus interest.
According to the suit, the defendant hired the plaintiff to complete work on her property but allegedly has failed to pay for the work.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory S. Marsiglia of Lowe, Stein, Hoffman, Allweiss & Hauver LLP in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
