Capital One claims that an individual owes it more than $2,000

GRETNA — Capital One is seeking more than $2,000.

Capital One Bank filed a suit on Oct. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Marvis L. Hicks, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off a balance of $2,821.48 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 776849.
