Navient Credit Finance Corp claims that a man owes it more than $15,000

GRETNA — A credit corporation is seeking more than $15,000 on an unpaid note.

Navient Credit Finance Corp filed a suit on Oct. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against James A. Braendel, alleging sums due on an unpaid note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $15,121.23 plus interest on a student loan.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeremy L. Nusloch of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 776844.
