NEW ORLEANS — A woman claims that she was injured by a coworker while working at a hotel.
Paulene Pierre filed a lawsuit on Oct. 16 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Jane Doe, The Service Companies Inc. and Hyatt Regency, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed at the Hyatt Regency at 601 Loyola Ave. in New Orleans on Oct. 20, 2016 when the incident allegedly took place. The suit states that the plaintiff was assaulted by a coworker.
The defendant is accused of negligence due to allegedly failing to protect employees.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Pius A. Obioha of the Law Office of Pius A. Obioha & Associates LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
