Credit union alleges promissory note customer owes more than $23,000

GRETNA –A credit union is suing a promissory note customer, alleging he owes more than $23,000.

Xplore Federal Credit Union filed a suit Oct. 25 against Lester J. Lusignan in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, Xplore Federal seeks damages for an open account of $23,779.82, alleging Lusignan has failed to pay off sums due on a promissory note.

Xplore Federal Credit Union seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Michael A. Broussard of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 777174.
