Man allegedly owes $1,300 on Best Buy account

GRETNA — A financial company is seeking more than $1,300 from a past due Best Buy account.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit  on Nov. 2 against Nedal Hassan in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking the balance of $1,340.21 plus interest, claiming that the defendant failed to pay off the Best Buy account and that there was no response after the defendant was sent amicable demand on Aug. 23, 2017.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
