GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking more than $4,000 from a Marerro resident.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Nov. 14 against Darnel Thompson Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open Sears account with a balance of $4,156.56 plus interest.
The defendant is accused of failing to pay sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael L. Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
