GRETNA – A debt collector claims a Westwego resident owes money on a Visa account.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Nov. 14 against James Wells in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the petition, the plaintiff is seeking $1,406.84 plus interest on a Visa account that it says the defendant has failed to pay.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael L. Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
