Woman claims negligence in fall at Kenner Target

GRETNA – A woman claims that she was injured when she slipped and fell in the bathroom of the Kenner Target.

Gayle Litolff filed suit on November 9 against Target Corporation of Minnesota and ACE American Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was a guest at the Target in Kenner on Dec. 4, 2016 when she allegedly was caused to slip and fall in the bathroom as a result of a cleaning spray that had dripped onto the floor.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to clean up the floor, failing to warn of the danger and overall negligence of management.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by James Maher III in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
