National World War II Museum named in motor vehicle suit

GRETNA — A Jefferson Parish woman claims that she was injured in a car accident due to the driver's negligence.

Summer Rose filed suit on November 6 against Mickal A. Baldinger; The National World War II Museum Inc., which owns the vehicle Baldinger was driving; and The Hanover American Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was driving her car in Jefferson Parish on Nov. 10, 2016, when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Baldinger, who allegedly failed to keep an eye out and failed to stop in enough time.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by M. Ali Shahlael in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
