Harvey woman allegedly owes JCPenny more than $2,800

GRETNA — A financial services company is seeking more than $2,800 from the holder of a JCPenny card.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit on Nov. 9 against Juanita Gaines of Harvey in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking the balance of $2,830.47 plus interest in addition to attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
