Avondale woman allegedly owes Walmart more than $1,000

GRETNA — A financial services company is seeking more than $1,000 on an open Walmart account held by an Avondale woman.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit on Nov. 9 against Dionna Butler in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging she owes $1,116.51 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
