Woman says she was injured in fall at Baudry Therapy Center

GRETNA — A woman who allegedly fell and injured herself while undergoing a physical therapy session is suing the provider and its insurance company, claiming negligence. 

Victoria Prima and her husband Victor Prima filed a suit on Oct. 23 against Baudry Therapy Center LLC and ABC Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was at a physical therapy session on Feb. 14 when she was instructed to sit down in a chair that had been moved by the physical therapist. She allegedly fell to the ground and was severely injured. 

The plaintiffs are seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. They are represented by Julie Quinn of Quinn Alsterberg LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
