GRETNA — A woman who allegedly tripped and fell in a Jefferson Parish hospital claims the facility was negligent.
Maricka Coleman filed a suit on Nov. 16 against Ochsner Clinic Foundation in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the claim, she is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 16, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff was at the Ochsner Medical Center Hospital when she tripped and fell on a metal bracket on the ground.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William G. Legrand in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
