GRETNA — A woman alleges she was caused to trip and fall on a poorly place rubber mat in Sam's Club.
Laurel Landry filed suit on October 3 against Walmart Stores Inc., doing business as Sam's Club, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Oct. 3, 2016 when she was caused to trip and fall on a rubber mat in the Metairic Sam's Club.
The plaintiff is seeking damages, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by Harold L. Ehrenberg in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
