NEW ORLEANS – A construction company is seeking nearly $600,000 from a client.
Isacks Construction Co. Inc. filed a lawsuit on Nov. 8 against St. Angelo Investment Company LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement for construction work. The plaintiff issued invoices for the work completed, which the defendant was obligated to pay. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay all of the invoices issued and still owes $575,748.11 plus interest.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Christopher K. LeMieux of Blue Williams LLP in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
