NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall in a New Orleans Walmart.
Helena Hall filed a lawsuit on Nov. 29 against Walmart Louisiana LLC and Walmart Stores Inc. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was a guest at the Walmart at 4001 Behrman Place on Dec. 2, 2016 when she was caused to slip and fall on bleach that was left on the floor.
The defendant is accused of negligence because employees failed to clean the floors or warn of the danger.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael J. Simonson in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
