ATM company alleges Uncle Mo breached contract

GRETNA — A Baton Rouge company allegedly failed to install an ATM as agreed.

Southeast ATM Alliance LLC filed a suit on Nov. 2 against Uncle Mo Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract. According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages. The suit states that the defendant was the proprietor who signed a contract with the plaintiff on Oct. 20, 2010 to serve as an ATM location. The defendant was to place the ATM in its location in Baton Rouge; however, the defendant allegedly breached the contract by failing to connect the ATM to a power source and then putting another ATM on the premises.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Clarence F. Favret of Favret, Carriere, Cronvich LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
