Man reports suffering injury from fall at CVS

GRETNA – A lawsuit filed Dec. 20 claims a man was injured when he tripped over a crate in a CVS.

Marcos Gonzales filed a suit against Louisiana CVS Pharmacy LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Dec. 25, 2016. The plaintiff was at the CVS at 1801 Jefferson Highway when he was caused to trip and fall over a crate that was filled with bottled waters.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to warn of the danger or provide a safe location for guests to shop.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael J. Begoun of Wlfe, Begoun & Pick in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.
