Man seeks damages following fall at Home Depot

GRETNA – A man claims he was injured when he slipped on a muddy spot in a Home Depot.

Donald S. Anderson filed a suit Dec. 21 against Home Depot USA Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Dec. 27, 2016. The suit states the plaintiff was injured when he slipped and fell on a muddy portion of ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to clean up the mess or warn of the danger.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Harry L. Shoemaker III in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
