GRETNA – A woman claims she was severely injured when she entered a hospital.
Dorothy Mae Ross filed a suit Dec. 27 against University Healthcare System, dba Tulane-Lakeside Hospital, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Dec. 31, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured severely when she was entering the defendant's property. She was caused to slip and fall on a slippery surface, with poor lighting making it impossible for her to see the danger.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert Faucheux Jr.
