Woman claims she slipped and fell in New Orleans restaurant

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages, claiming she was injured in a slip and fall at a restaurant.

Sandra Pasqua filed a lawsuit Dec. 19 against Crescent City Restaurant Inc., Crescent City Steak House Inc., Crescent City Steaks, and United Fire & Indemnity Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Dec. 21, 2016. The suit states the plaintiff was at the defendant's property at 3420 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in New Orleans when she was caused to slip and fall backwards, landing on the floor. The lawsuit claims the cause of the fall was a slick surface that was not clearly marked.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Harold L. Ehrenberg in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern Reese.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2017-12162.
