Woman claims she fell in New Orleans Walmart

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for a slip and fall in a Walmart.

Pamela Sima filed a lawsuit Dec. 21 against Walmart Louisiana LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Oct. 19, 2017. The suit states the plaintiff was at the Walmart at 4001 Berhman Place when she was caused to slip and fall on a liquid that had been left on the ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Byron Miller Forrest of Emrest & Cressy Law Group in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper Griffin.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2017-12251.
