Prime Action Floors accused of negligence

GRETNA — A man claims that he slipped and fell in a wax puddle left in the store where he works.  

Ralph Williams III filed a suit on Jan, 5 against Prime Action Floors LLC and Sentinel Insurance Company Ltd. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident on Jan. 24, 2017 when the plaintiff was working at the Walgreens at 821 W. Esplanade Ave. The plaintiff alleges he was injured when he was caused to slip and fall in a puddle of wax that had been left on the ground by an employee for Prime Action Floors.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to clean up the mess and failing to warn of the danger.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William E. Mura Jr. in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
