A family is seeking damages after an elevator malfunctioned

NEW ORLEANS – Three family members claim they were injured when an elevator malfunctioned.

Andrea Harrison, Kennedy Harrison and Keenan Harrison filed a lawsuit Jan. 5 against Executive Plaza LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place July 5, 2017. The suit states the plaintiffs were caused injury when they were in an elevator at the defendant's property and the elevator malfunctioned.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney James M. Williams of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayes LLP in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-146.
