Company seeks compensation for completed work

NEW ORLEANS – A company claims it was never paid for cleaning work it performed.

Enmon Enterprises LLC, dba Jani King of New Orleans, filed a lawsuit Jan. 5 against Ekhaya Youth Project Inc. and/or Darrin L. Harris, dba Ekhaya Youth Project, and Darrin L. Harris in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Sept. 9, 2016 when the plaintiff agreed to perform duties for compensation. The suit states the defendant has breached contract through failing to reimburse the plaintiff for their work.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney S. Destin Sims in Ponchatoula

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-108.
