Morel Yorsch Properties accused of breach of contract

GRETNA – A company is seeking damages claiming a partner violated a contract.

John Lavicka and Jackie Lavicka, individually and derivately as members of Strategic Capital Holdings LLC, filed a suit on Jan. 19 against Morel Yorsch Properties LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the claim, the defendant was given sweat equity in the plaintiff's company in exchange for up to 50 percent of the net profits. The defendant, however, shirked its responsibilities and failed to provide the services agreed to.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William S. Clark in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
