Mail carrier seeks damages for trip and fall

NEW ORLEANS – A mail carrier is seeking damages after she was caused to trip and fall.

Vonetta Colin filed a lawsuit Dec. 20 against Lazaro Suarez, dba Paraiso LC, and Lazaro Suarez in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligenceAcc.

ording to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Dec. 20, 2016 when the plaintiff, a mail carrier, was caused to trip and fall at 3116-18 Banks St.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Louis A. Gerdes in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. 2017-12221.
