B&B Construction driver allegedly negligent in crash

GRETNA –A man claims that he and his minor son were injured in a car accident.

Omisamy Hernandez-Capote, individually and on behalf of his minor child, filed a suit on Jan. 25 against B&B Construction LLC, Kevin Adams and the Allstate Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 3, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving on Williams Boulevard in Kenner and a driver operating a car for the defendant struck the plaintiff's car, injuring the plaintiff and his child.

The defendant is accused of negligence and reckless driving.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stephen C. Juan in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
