Lawsuit claims plaintiff defaulted on $5,500 Best Buy account

GRETNA – A funding company is seeking over $5,500 in sums due.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Jan. 8 against Melanie Dillon in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $5,569.59 plus 4.25 percent interest on a Best Buy account.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.
