Bank claims it is owed more than $19,000 on open account

GRETNA – A bank is seeking damages for sums due on an open account.

Discover Bank filed a suit Jan. 16 against Nicholas D. Frederick in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off a balance of $19,823.26 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffery Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Julie Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 779609.
