GRETNA – A man claims he was caused injury during a personal training session.
Rhett Butler filed a suit Jan. 28 against French Riviera Health Spa Inc., Riviera Personal Training II Inc. and Alex Ng in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Jan. 24, 2017. The plaintiff and defendant were working together on a training session when the defendant instructed the plaintiff to complete a strenuous exercise that injured his right shoulder and caused permanent damages.
The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to properly instruct the plaintiff and failing to use caution when introducing new exercises.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joline Sileo in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
