GRETNA – A physician claims he was not provided medical malpractice coverage by his employer as agreed.
Kashaf Sherafgan, M.D. filed a suit Jan. 30 against the practice of Drs. Kappelman, Boos and MInnard LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages claiming that the defendant failed to provide medical malpractice coverage to the plaintiff as they agreed to.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Al Thompson Jr. in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
