GRETNA – A foodservice company is seeking damages for an incident it claims was caused by a contractor's negligence.
Reinhart Foodservice LLC filed a suit Feb. 15 against Dependable Source Corp. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of service agreement and negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that the defendant was negligent and crashed a vehicle belonging to the plaintiff into a railroad crossing, failing to take into account the height clearance that was stated on the crossing.
The defendant is accused of negligence and breach of service agreement.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Richard Levin of Levin Law Offices in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.
