Capital One Bank claims that it is owed more than $5,000

GRETNA — Capital One Bank is seeking damages claiming that a Jefferson Parish man failed to pay off the amount he owed.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit on Feb. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jeremy A. Sharp alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, claiming that it is owed the balance of $5,079.34 plus interest because the defendant allegedly failed to pay off what he owed.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Linly L. Hall of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
