New Orleans International Airport accused of negligence in woman's fall

NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was caused to slip and fall in Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

Delacia Green filed a lawsuit on Feb. 17 against Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, the City of New Orleans and Metro Service Group in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on Feb. 17 when the plaintiff was walking through the airport and was injured when she slipped and fell on water dripping from the ceiling.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Ahundra Martin Bar in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
