NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she slipped and fell in a Hyatt.
Millicent Crawford filed a lawsuit on March 2 against Hyatt Corporation, Ares Management Group LLC, Hyatt Louisiana LLC and Western World Insurance Company in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on March 2, 2017 when the plaintiff was a guest in the defendant's hotel at 601 Loyala Avenue in New Orleans. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured when she slipped on an unknown substance that had been left on the ground.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Branden Villavaso in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.
