NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $6,100.
University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit Jan. 11 against Kenya Monay Clay in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages in the balance of $6,177.25 plus interest, claiming that they are owed by the defendant.
The defendant is accused of open account.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher Bruno.
